Ron Littman, M.Sc.

Senior Consultant and Team Leader


As a Senior Consultant, Ron Littman advises researchers on writing and submitting grant applications for biomedical research in order to enhance the quality of the application for maximal chances for funding. Over the decade that Ron has worked at FreeMind, he has submitted over 120 grant applications of a diverse range of mechanisms to a wide variety of US Federal agencies, including NIH, USAMRMC, CDMRP, FDA, NSF, NIST and others. He has guided clients on all types of biomedical research, spanning nearly all fields of medicine – cancer, Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative diseases, inflammatory diseases, infectious diseases and antimicrobial agents, genetic diseases, therapeutic, diagnostic and bioinformatic product development, drug development, and medical device design and engineering – at all stages of development: basic research, pre-IND work, and clinical trials.

Ron is greatly appreciated by his clients for his keen eye for experimental detail and in-depth review of the texts that he receives, ensuring that the clients provide a full, detailed description of all stages of their research, including the strategic overview, execution of the protocols, and analysis of the results.

Ron holds an M.Sc. in Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from the University of Michigan. He completed his Master’s research in the laboratory of Dr. Ziv Reich in the Department of Biological Chemistry at the Weizmann Institute, studying cellular import and export of materials through the nuclear pore complex.
