CAN - The Cures Acceleration Network is a new clinical support initiative authorized as part of the Health Insurance Reform Bill, which will award grants to biotech companies, universities, and patient advocacy groups to support clinical research.
SBIR - Under the newly approved regulation SBIR funding has increased from $100K to $150K for an SBIR Phase I award; and from $750K to $1M for an SBIR Phase II award.
