Every year, the NIH alone awards over $120,000,000 via R’- and U’-Mechanisms, among them the R21, R01, and U01s. In order to maximize your funding potential, all sources of funding must be considered including the less traditional ones.
R21s aim to fund very early stage proof of concept type programs of up to 2 years at about $300,000, R01s are more suitable for longer programs of up to 5 years, totaling close to $3,000,000, and U01s are designed to fund large-scale projects, typically with no budget cap.
In this webinar, FreeMind experts will share insight into alternatives to the classic SBIR/STTR mechanisms. We will discuss methodology for establishing both responsiveness as well as competitiveness and how to increase chances for award.
