Dr. Daniel Gossett is Program Director of Small Business Programs, Translational Research, and Technology Development at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) at the NIH. His grant portfolio includes tool and technology development efforts, biomedical imaging, translational research, and research conducted by small businesses in the areas of kidney, urologic, and hematologic diseases. He is the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Coordinator for the NIDDK and works on several NIDDK programs including the Kidney Precision Medicine Project and the (Re)Building a Kidney consortium.

Prior to joining NIDDK, Dr. Gossett was Vice President of Research and Development at CytoVale Inc.

He holds a PhD from UCLA, and he was a postdoctoral fellow there as well.
